About

Me

As a foster kid I've had to work very hard to get where I am today, fighting to get a post-secondary education, and I did it not once but twice.

I'm a graduate of VanArts and Vancouver Film School with a diploma in Game art and Character design and 3D animation.

Growing up I've always been the artsy type. I always wanted to do art for a living, but graduating from high school I found that it was extremely hard to be a concept artist professionally and turned to my favorite movie, "Toy Story".

It's been my favorite movie ever since I can remember and it always will be. I found that I loved bringing characters to life just as I did drawing them. I could make them talk and walk and act. I could see an array of emotions on my character's face other than the one I drew.

To be a concept artist is still my dream but I have a lot to learn and so much to improve on. The same goes for animation. One day I want to meet the people who brought toy story in to the world and thank them for changing my life, and making it just a little bit better.

My favourite games are: The Sims, the Silent Hill and Resident Evil series, Saints Row 3 and 4, Mass Effect, F.E.A.R, and GW2.

I hope that maybe some day I could also participate on an amazing team to help create a game. That is after all why I started my journey as a 3D and 2D artist!
